Presurgery and Aftercare

For Mr Boyce and his team, your safety and care are paramount. Mr Boyce will ensure you are fully aware of what this involves, how much time is needed to recover and return to your daily activities, the potential problems that may arise.  The first consultation is often the most important step  when you are thinking of undergoing plastic surgery. As a founder-member of  safercosmeticsurgery.org  quality of care is of paramount importance, and Mr Boyce will dedicate time to address your concerns. Based on his experience, Mr Boyce will provide you with an opinion, as to what  surgery is most suitable. As every patient is unique, he may also advise you that certain surgery is not suitable for yourself.

Anaesthesa

During surgery you will be supported by an experienced team. If you  need general anaesthetic, this will be provided by an accredited consultant anaesthetist who is on the specialist register. This may require some preoperative tests.

Here is a some feedback from patients themselves

"I couldn't fault the fact that you personally rang me after my op a couple of times to ask me how I was feeling and so did Sara Hunt my Anaesthetist. From my first meeting with you I felt very comfortable in your hands and knew I had made the right decision about my op with your guidance."  L.S. 12/07/2013

"The day of my operation I was very apprehensive, more so with going under anaesthetic than with the procedure. From entering the hospital, both myself and my family were given a caring and professional welcome by everybody who was involved with my care. Once I was settled in my room a nurse came and went through the booking in process and then my anaesthetist, Dr Hunt came to see me. Knowing I was scared she went through everything that would happen and I felt at ease, then Mr Boyce came to see me and reassured me I would be in good hands. He also went through everything again with me and my husband.

Mr Boyce came to see me later on in the evening to make sure I was alright and he showed me then what he had done. He had taken away the ugliness and given something I could be proud of. I went home the next night and Mr Boyce even asked for my home phone number so he could ring to see if I was ok that night. The after care I have been given is second-to-none and is for a year after my surgery. The nursing staff have been wonderful"

Aftercare

Care does not stop with surgery, and you are encouraged to contact his practice with any concerns you may have. You are safe in the knowledge that if problems do occur, Mr Boyce will be at your side, and he will review you as a matter of urgency.
